Green River Ordinance

A few years ago I discovered this band and recently re-discovered them. I had forgotten how much I missed their music.  What captivates me about this band is the softness of their style and the boldness of their lyrics.  I love that some of their songs have a rock/pop vibe, while others are quiet and tender.
This band is incredible. They have been around for a long time and I hope they continue to make great music.

Chris Mann

This guy is amazing!! The tone of his voice is so smooth and beautiful. His voice is one of the best I have ever heard. His style is so diverse too, which is another reason why I have fallen in love with him. He can sing anything and he is just so amazing. You will not be disappointed if you check him out.

I love all of his songs, but these are my favorites:

When I first discovered Chris and his amazing voice, I didn't realize I saw him audition for The Voice this season. I had no idea it was the same person. He made it through the blind auditions and is on Team Christina! Go Chris!!!

SafetySuit

I was introduced to the band SafetySuit by my younger brother a few years ago and instantly fell in love with them.  They have the ability to capture specific emotions through their music unlike any other band I’ve listened to.  I can always count on them to deliver an infectious melody with powerful lyrics  - that is why I love them so much.

Their first major label album, Life Left to Go, was released in 2008. They have made music videos for the songs "Someone Like You" and "Stay." Both of these songs are amazing and each music video compliments the song so well.  This album has a song for every mood – adoration, discouragement, heartbreak, and forgiveness to name a few.

These Times is their brand new album released earlier this month. They already have three singles and music videos out for this last album – "Get Around This", "Let Go," and "These Times."  "Get Around This" reminds me of their older music while "Let Go" has more of a pop influence. No matter if they lean more towards pop or rock, this album has the same catchy melodies and lyrics. It is already one of my new favorites and I think it will become one of yours too.
